Kristin Schaack

Writer/Director of Rag Dolls

Kristin Schaack is a Minnesota native director, writer, and producer. Her background in film is rooted in her love for theater and initial dream of wanting to be an actor.  Realizing she is better suited for behind the camera, Kristin earned her Bachelor of Arts in Film & Television from Chapman University in Southern California. After college, she worked on several television shows, including The Office, Weeds, and Heroes. Since returning to Minnesota, Kristin has co-directed over a dozen short films with Above-the-Line Entertainment, serves on the Board of Directors for FilmNorth, and works full-time as a producer for Target.  Her taste in film mirrors how she likes to run her set - fun and full of laughter.

Jody Lichtor

Moderator

President of MN Women in Film and Television

Food and Prop Media Stylist

Jody’s experience in the film industry began in 1994 as a wardrobe assistant on a Sears Shoes commercial. She worked as a PA and wardrobe/prop stylist, production coordinator, manager on commercials, corporate videos, television series and feature films in an effort to find her own unique niche in the business. Eventually as a result of being hired as a food and prop stylist, that became her position for hire. She has served on the MN WIFT Board since 2008, four of those years as Vice-President and previously chaired the Communications Committee overseeing the MN WIFT newsletter and e-blasts.
